  • Online Supplement: PMA is pleased to offer online support for students - available 24/7 and not a replacement for instructor involvement but serves as a supplement.
  • PMA has 18 years of experience. Starting in 1994 with the EMR Program and developing EMT and EMT-P enjoying CMA Accreditation for the EMT and EMT-P programs.

Professional Medical Associates is dedicated to proving our "Commitment to Educational Excellence" in every program delivered. Since 1995, Professional Medical Associates has strived to become the leader in innovative, effective and superior education for all levels of Emergency Medical Service practitioners as well as educational programs in emergency medical services such as AED, CPR, First Aid or Emergency Medical Dispatching.

Company Profile

Professional Medical Associates maintains active approval of programs through the Alberta College of Paramedics and are approved programs of the Health Disciplines Board of Alberta. The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program was re-accredited as a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) program and the Emergency Medical Technologist-Paramedic program was accredited as an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) program. Accreditation of the programs by the Canadian Medical Association allows for national mobility and recognition.

The EMT and EMT-P programs are currently licensed under the Private Vocational Schools Act serving students out of the St. Albert and Calgary offices.
